The Importance of Children's Ministry

Update on the fellowship room

 One of the main things we did this week was painting the floor so that the floors would be nice and give it more of the cafe feel to it.

We are almost done with the room! We are so excited  that the room is almost fully ready so we can have fellowship in here on Sundays after church and during the week!!
We still have to finish up the kitchen and we are still waiting to get more tables and chairs so we could have places for people to sit, feel relaxed and have great fellowship.

Pastors conference

 Had the chance to go to a pastors conference last week in Japan up in the mountains outside of Tokyo. I got to meet and talk to some of the pastor here in Japan. It was a blessing to learn from these men of God who have a heart for Japan. The theme was Grace. It is so important for us to always be reminded about God's grace! It was a blessing to be reminded that God wants to give us His grace and we don't deserve it at all. I learned a lot more on God's awesome grace and also learned a lot more on ministering to the Japanese, serving in ministry, being a missionary, and learning church planting.

 It was a blessing to get to meet up again with some of my old Okinawa friends. Please keep these guys in prayer as they are all serving God in different parts of Japan now so that the people in Japan can all call on the name of the Lord.

We are planning on changing this room into more of a cafe feel to it. We already painted, removed the carpet and now we want to put new tables in this  room so we can have a nice room for fellowship and coffee.

CCI

Please keep Calvary Chapel in your prayers. We have mostly Military that come here which is great because we get to minister to the ones who are protecting our country. We have very little Japanese that come to this church but that is on our heart to reach out to more Japanese people here. We are praying that God will bring someone that could do translating for us so that we will be able to have our Sunday service in both English and in Japanese. Please pray that God will open up doors for us to share the gospel to the Japanese and the Military that is here.
